We're Here. We Post Too Much. Get Used to It!

We're Here...We Post Too Much...Get Used To It.

Who are we?   We are women.   We are mothers.   We are going out of our minds with stress!   We are bored...We are busy...we relish a phone call from a friend who isn't working as we have no one to talk to during the day.   We have smart phones.   We have friends we don't get to see  or talk to very often save for once every few months when a special event pops up or our schedules seem to align spontaneously.   We have a few outlets.   We are choosing to be there for our toddlers during their formative years because we believe both the comfort and security provided by us will only serve to benefit them.   We are restless.   We don't like the phrase "stay at home mom".   We don't  identify that way.   We are not out in the world very often and being home means  every eight seconds a major catastrophe is about to strike..  As I write this now, pausing for a moment was necessary as my two year old thinks she's a PJ Mask and tried to climb up as high as possible in order to fly!   Disaster averted and so we proceed.   When we see social network posts we are grateful for a laugh or a cry.   Ecstatic to connect with people instead of baby talking all day long.   (FYI, baby talk is proven to be ineffective and detrimental but, I digress).   We are smart.   We read our notifications for entertainment.  We don't want people to forget about us.   We post to vent, to connect, and God Forbid we go out once and a while, that's a five day update fest!   We will stop.   Eventually, we will stop.   But for now, we are here, we post too much, we are aware and don't care.   Get used to it!!!
